ISDI Mumbai offers UG courses in Designing. B.Des is the most popular course here. For the B.Des program candidate should have completed 10+2 with 55% (45% for SC/ST). The Institute offers admission based on merit and entrance exams Design Aptitude Test (DAT) followed by online interview.

Candidates can apply online for the entrance exam DAT, registration for the DAT entrance exam started in the month of Sept. Exams will be conducted in different cycles. The last date for Portfolio/Design Project & DAT is July 12, 2025. The Application fee is INR 3,500, which is non-refundable and non-transferable.

ISDI Mumbai also offers PG courses in Designing, with M.Des (Master of Design). For the M.Des program, candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree in design or a related field with at least 55% marks (45% for SC/ST). Admission to the M.Des program is based on performance in the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) followed by a personal interview.

What ISDI is like

Admission:

I considered going to UID Ahmedabad and MIT Pune. I decided to not go to UID because I would have move to Ahmedabad and I didn't get into MIT for unknown reasons. The admission process for ISDI involves giving an entrance exam, submitting portfolio and an interview.

Admission:

I didn't know about ISDI, ATLAS SKILLTECH UNIVERSITY at first, then I used to get calls from them, they have their site where you can apply then they call you for confirmation after that you have to submit your details and then there is a test, a normal aptitude test which includes English comprehension and grammar, general knowledge, etc., then you get your offer letter based on the test. then there is the interview, in the interview, they ask you why did you choose this college, about yourself, your interest, etc.

Really great college in Mumbai for design!

Admission:

Getting admission was not at all hectic, all we had to do was fill the application form present on the college website, then had to submit the marks scored in the bachelor's degree and then we were called for an interview as the final selection process.

Amazing design college!!

Admission:

To get admission, I had to first make sure to fulfil the eligibility criteria to get admission in the college, which is to first pass class 12 and then give the ISDI challenge, then an interview round is conducted for our final selection.

Admission:

Anyone who is pursuing or has completed their graduation/diploma or any other equivalent education in any field any apply for the course. A student who have given the entrance exams like GATE, GMAT, CEED, etc. are also eligible to apply for the PG course. The selection process is through ISDI challenge rounds. The admission is granted to the institute on the basis of the marks obtained in the selection rounds.

Bit expensive.

Admission:

For getting admission here firstly you need to submit your portfolio which will show them your talent in sculpture, drawing, sketching, graphics etc... This is of 100 marks and weightage in our admission is 40% after this one aptitude test happened here with all types of questions same 100 marks and 30% weightage and lastly interview with again 100 marks and 30% weightage.

Admission:

Everything was depended upon how good you are in when we talk about designs. I submitted my portfolio on the college website with some of mine 8 to 10 sketching. after this they called me for an aptitude test which too held online and an interview subsequently everything had weightage of 40:30:30 percent.

Good learning and Great Atmosphere

Admission:

Any candidate who has completed 10+2 from any examination board such as HSC, CBSE, ISC is best suited for the course. A person has a profound interest in design and innovation and design can also apply for the course. The age limit for the course is 21. The admission is based on an entrance exam that is taken by the institute.

Admission:

I am currently doing a PG Program in Design & Innovation from ISDI Mumbai which is one of the best schools for design & innovation across the country. The eligibility criteria for a student looking for admission in this course from ISDI need to have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Along with this the candidates will have to sit for a Creative Aptitude Test followed by Personal Interview with Portfolio Review conducted by the university. Only after the above mentioned procedure, the students will be selected based on their overall performance.
