College Days

Likes

There was no discrimination against any anyone there were more females than males and the environment still felt comfortable
Big spacious campus and classroom with good facilities for students
The faculty was were understanding and a bunch of real professionals

Dislikes

Are a little slow in notifying about things to the students
The canteen isn’t very nice but there is a nescafe shack for the students
The college surroundings are not nice there is railway track and a big long sewer canal passing by

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty really impressed me so it made learning about psychology even fun and easy to understand They used to have activities based on the current topic so that students get a grip of it in reality Other than that of psychology the other faculties were a little dull so maybe that can change There are 4 exams along the year 2 unit tests and 2 semesters unit being mcq's and sem being for subjective briefings

Living a life and getting opportunity in the college

Likes

Infrastructure and campus of joshi bedekar collge is very big
Cultural events and fest are conducted in the college
Sports and fitness related activities are also conducted in the college

Dislikes

The management of the college is not good

The curriculum of the bms course is good and it is related to the current trends in the global market like artificial intelligence and machine learning and data analysis are also included in the curriculum

Likes

Very Nice and Bigl. Campus, Greenery. So much Courses are Available,
Different Departments are their like NSS,NCC,Atulya Group for Disable students,RTA newspaper publish by Students,College Adopted 1 village name Mokshada. And sells their stuff.
Opportunities like Youth is their. industrial visit happens, Other Real life Opportunities are available

Dislikes

Management is poor. Staff takes Lecs For Granted. And not much students are their.

90% real makes us Prepare for Real worlds and Provides opportunities to Make Us Strong and Smart..Alot of Big Personalities comes to clg and Meets students, Guides us, alot of Actors,Researchers also comes.college provdies Intership also, Sometimes Internships is paid.

Overall the facilities they provided was good enough and according to my opinion to improvement is needed because it's a best college in the thane I would highly recommend to consider this college for BMS
Campus life is amazing various course students interact with each other, friendly environment is there in this premises
All the professors are very helpful in nature, quality of teaching is also good

Last semester the companies start to visit the colleges for the placement and placement cell is appointed for the smooth process TCS ICICI Bank and Wipro and various other companies visited the college Highest package provided 300000/- yr

My 5 years of college life

Likes

The teacher student relationship was good. They were quite understanding and helpful to provide each and every notes to us prior exams.
The sports arena is as well quite good for students to play in.
Library canteen nd Gymkhana is also well maintained.

Dislikes

The office staff were too lazy to do off our work.
Notices are not given on time. Prior notices for any lecture aren't given.
Technology is lacked during online exams. Faces a lot of problem giving the exams.

Placement Experience:

There are quite good companies which reach out our college as it is Mumbai University affiliated. Average package is around 3 lakhs. After the completion of 2 years placement cell drops notices for placements.

My College Life in a nutshell

Likes

Campus life and people in the college class
The food in the canteen is good and many items were there
The classroom was good and the ambience was good

Dislikes

The college was little strict and restrictions were there
The education might have been better than the current level
Professors are little under qualified which could have been better

Placement Experience:

The placements are average. Not many companies visited the college for mass hiring. Overall experience was not that great. The average package was around 3.5 LPA and some students were able to grab placements

Likes

Overall college campus is beautiful and it's close to nature.
Huge collection of books are available in library. Online library facility is also available.

Dislikes

Thing that need to be improved as soon as possible is canteen and it's food.
Quality of infrastructure is needed to be increased.
Multiple courses are provided but no proper classroom space is provided

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is industry oriented mostly all the topics which would be needed in practical work life are also covered. The subjects are also quite interesting they provide in depth knowledge of Management system on how to manage a work place.

The Best College O Thane?

Likes

Loved the campus of this college. Huge and very good surrounding.
Nature perfect campus, so many trees and other things to get attracted.
The sport events with a lot of opportunities for everyone.

Dislikes

Counter wait time. Takes a lot of time to get over with the process.
Some of the guards which are too rude sometimes.
Computer lab, few computers are not working.

Placement Experience:

The last year of the graduation, which is Third year and 6th sem (As per BMS), The placements starts. The placement cell gets many companies and students with the great results gets seelected too. The average package is around 3-4LPA. Almost 60-70% students gets selected and get placement.

BEFORE JOINING K.G.JOSHI BEDEKAR COLLEGE , THANE READ THIS:

Likes

The professors provide enough time to complete assignment and some prefers presentation so there is some skill improvement too
The campus is big and there is room for girls to rest and charge phone and change clothes if needed. Students play basketball, cricket and there are many tournaments all around the year.
There are many extracurricular activities like DLLE, NSS, NCC, CULTURAL COMMITTEE PROGRAMS , etc.

Dislikes

The assignments are mostly hand written work which needs lots of time and it is copying half of the textbook
The law building washrooms are often close so we are constantly complaining about it to the authority, they open it when we fill complaint however close it after some days and the process go on.
The gymkhana is one of the useless thing in the college , the timings are off and girls misses their opportunities to play most of the time.

Placement Experience:

Mostly after BMS people prefer MBA because from any college you do bms you will get the average package of 300000 which is after tax 15000 a month. However through placement cell the top recuiting companies are TCS, KOTAK MAHINDRA, ZELL, BAJAJ FINANCE,etc

Likes

Ambiance is nice. They have maintained it quite well.
The teachers are nice. They never make you feel bad for asking questions.

Dislikes

Staff members sometimes act a bit rude..

Placement Experience:

For HR field, there were very less placement opportunities. Mostly it was for Finance role. The jobs offered were not upto the mark, and most of them were night shifts or there were some cons to the job role.
