Bhavan's College Mumbai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I am a second year student in Bhavan's college in the BMM department. During my admissions after 12th , when i looked up for curriculum in Bhavan's a certain subjects like Mobile content creation and photography lured me as they are easily applicable in practical work plus they are in demand in todays media field. The current curriculum is 85% theoretical according to me as only one subject that is theatre studies is practical. Hence the application of current syllabus in real life is questionable. However , it can be useful if one opts for Post graduation. The area where the curriculum needs to improve is to add more practical knowledge and teaching methods should be more interactive. In context of frequency of exams, only 2 end sem exams plus internal exams for 2 credit subjects are conducted. The difficulty level can be rated as mediocre.

A curriculum that balances foundational knowledge with advanced topics. The exam is difficult because each question is 5 marks. The teaching method is good but the exam will be difficult to ask some of question objective types.

Course curriculum is good It prepares you enough for real world situations it has different subjects which can be used in real world There are some subjects which I feel are just useless and don't give any value to me personally The frequency of exams are good they gave you enough time to prepare

I choose my course in my own mind my course is very well I like my course the college is give me very provided to my course I like my course I know about my course very well the b.com course is good in subject

The student of class TY gets a chance to opt for the Placements. And Students are chosen according to CGPA for the placement rounds. The companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc. are part of placements, and many of them selected the companies on an average 3 lakh package. The highest package vas 15.8 lakh p.a.

I have chosen the course because I was more interested in the research field. Faculty in Bhavan's college are highly qualified and maintain friendly behavior towards students. Communicate well and make study easier to understand. Qualification of faculty is - Ph.D. and Master in desired field. Teaching methods are more improved due to COVID they use digital platforms and classrooms to provide high-quality education Student-faculty ratio - 10:8. The term exam was twice a year. Around November and March. The examination level is intermediate.

I chose this course because I wanted to become a chartered accountant so bcom is best degree to do alongside CA. This wasy my graduation is also completed.stident ratio is 60:40 ,60 male and 40 female.faculty is not the best but not the worst too they are mediocre.Exams are held every 3 months and it was easy to pass.

The course and curriculum are perfect according to the students. There are good faculties that could explain to the children and at the same time test their knowledge.

About 80 to 90 % of the student got placed in the course. Most of the big companies give internships from top companies. The highest package offered was around 7.2 LPA. The average salary package is around 3.5 LPA. The top companies which offered placement are HDFC bank, Accenture, TCS, and Infosys. You get the placement if you got more than 80 % in any course or category. I have planned to do a CA course after completing my degree course.

I’ve chosen this course as I was planning to be a journalist. The faculty in Bhavan's college are very nice and helpful. Some of my professors also worked with reputed news channels. There is a lot of practical work. Also, IV (informational visits) are done from time to time. There is a total of 6 semesters, so basically every year 2 semesters are conducted. And the course is for 3 academic years. To pass the exams just prepare as your Professors direct you.
