Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I am interested in being a software developer. and love coding. The faculty has great experience and teaches very well but sometimes it's hard to understand what they speak. There are times when faculties just read ppt and walk away. All the faculties are having suitable qualifications and 5+ teaching experience. and I rate their teaching method 7 /10.
Placement Experience
The student of class TY gets a chance to opt for the Placements. And Students are chosen according to CGPA for the placement rounds. The companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc. are part of placements, and many of them selected the companies on an average 3 lakh package. The highest package vas 15.8 lakh p.a.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees hike for the course is quite high as it increases min 5000 to 10000 a year. Which can be quite expensive. And the expense of other kinds of stuff like printing journals for each subject again cause bit high for each sem it may go 1000rs only for printing.
Campus Life
The campus-like is very good. The annual fest which happens in Bhavans is the O2 fest and is quite good and fun to participate in it. There are more the 3 colleges on one campus so the fest keeps on going for 2 months.
Admission
The admission process was smooth online but caused trouble with offline document submission. The eligibility criteria are that the student should have 45% above marks in HSC with a science background. If the student is a commerce background the maths is compulsory. First, the student has to fill Mumbai University form and then visit Bhavans website which is bhavans.ac.in. We get all the forms over there and fill them in online mode. Reservation faculties are also available for SC/OBC they have fewer fees compared to the open category.
Other Applied Colleges
Shailendra Education Society's Arts, Commerce & Science College | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Information Technology)
