My Honest review of VMMC Delhi

Fees and Financial Aid:

VMMC is a Central Government college affiliated with GGSIPU. There is no Management Quota. All seats were subsidized Government seats. Fee Structure (Year-Wise Overview) The fees were highly subsidized compared to private colleges. Tuition Fee: Approx. ?18,000 per year. University Charges (GGSIPU): Approx. ?12,000 per year (includes Development & Exam fees). Student Fund: Approx. ?2,000 per year. One-Time Caution Deposit: ?10,000 (Paid at admission, refundable). Category Breakdown General / OBC: You paid the standard components above. Total per year: ~?32,000 – ?36,000. First year (with deposit): ~?45,000. SC / ST: Tuition fees were typically waived. Total per year: You largely paid only University/Exam dues, roughly ?12,000 – ?15,000. Scholarships & Financial Aid Since fees were already low, scholarships mostly covered living expenses or reimbursed the university dues. Post-Matric Scholarship (Delhi Govt): Available for SC/ST/OBC students to reimburse compulsory non-refundable fees. Merit-cum-Means (Delhi E-district): Offered to students with >60% marks and low family income, covering up to 100% of the tuition/university fee.

Fees is not much , u can afford easily Like every year 3/4k decreasing till now Approx 50k which includes hostel fees also of 6k, in mess u have to pay daily for the food that u eat and charges are like negotiable and u get every facility, rooms are shared (2 in each room)

Currently , when admitted to the college , we have to pay a total of 44000 per year . Scholarships are also available, as for scheduled caste and tribes and also for those with army background or central pool quota and the Delhi quota

Fees and Financial Aid:

I am currently in first year and i have paid Rs.50,000 for the whole year . Tuition fees is Rs.15,000. University fees is Rs.25,000. Student activity fees is Rs.5000 . Security money is Rs.5000(refundable ). The fees is same for all student irrespective of their their category . Since it is a government college so the fees is already subsidized so no scholarships.

Tuition is okay but the university take fee every year along with the tuition fee that is difficult too some students. Complete cost of the course will be around on 1 lakh 15 thousand rupees which is too much for some students those can't afford

Fess is fixed for all students that is 50,000 per year..since it's a government college so fees is less. There is no as such scholarships available. Fees is same for all the students irrespective of anything. Hostel fees is 6000 per year..

Studying in a government medical college is not costly... some colleges having a fee as low was 1500 rupees only. Studying in a private college is pretty costly You get one year of internship after the final year of mbbs (4th year) which is paid

The cost of the study is very minimal. Per yearly Rs.36,000 are charged as the college fees and if you have opted for a hostel you have to pay 6000 per year for Hostel that includes the electricity bill, water bill and everything else. You just have to pay for the Mess food.

The academic fees are a little higher .it's around 38000 per year . But cheers, government and colleges help the students if you are not financially capable by giving different scholarships . There is scholarship portal where you can avail this opportunity
