Government Law College Madurai Course Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

LL.B. is offered as a flagship program at GLC Madurai. For admission to the LL.B. program, candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern) with at least 45% marks from a recognised university. Admission in GLC Madurai is merit-based and done through online counselling conducted by the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University (TNDALU). The last date of online registration for admission to GLC Madurai is scheduled on July 25, 2025 for the LL.B. program.

GLC Madurai offers a B.A. LL.B. integrated program. For admission to the B.A. LL.B. program, candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board with a minimum of 45% marks. Admission into the LL.M. program is also merit-based. Candidates need to have completed an LL.B. Degree with a minimum of 50% throughout the duration of the course.

Students can register for the counselling on the official TNDALU website. Normally, the admission process starts in the months of April-May. The registration fee is INR 1000 for all candidates except SC/ST category, for whom the registration fee is INR 500. Admission to all the courses follows the same procedure. Registration is done through the TNDALU website for admission. The university releases a merit list on the basis of marks obtained in the previous examination. Multiple merit lists are published on the basis of seats available.
