The faculty here is pretty good they give their best while teaching.
Placement of our college is good they provide any provide maximum job opportunities to the student our college is very good in placing their student at a good place various companies like microsoft, google
You belong to the ews section or any other category you can easily apply for a respective state government scholarship if you are eligible for that college will definitely help.

Dislikes

Yes of course college provide hostel facilities for first to third year hostel fees is on average 1 lakh per annum but when it comes to mess it is very poor food quality is not good here.
Admission was ok but there is so many problems on physical reporting days .i faced a lot of struggle in admision .
College never do such celebration type fest in my college and district too much hacked job for student in the second problem is that there is no proper organisation.studends get disturbed by assignment.

All about NIET by an Alumni

Likes

I liked the educational system of the college
I liked the faculty members of some department
I liked some of my juniors I met in the college

Dislikes

First of all cafeteria is very poor and too small
Apart from that auditorium is only one and very small
No events no parties no fests for students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some aspects of curriculum that influenced me to choose some courses like VLSI and Embedded system like they are connected to my main stream. The curriculum is like they only preferred theoretical knowledge they don't rely on practical knowledge which is not good . They should let the students know about practical application also.

Real Truth Of My College

Likes

My college is autonomous so that helps me to give exam in the college not travelling to anywhere to give exams.
Some teachers are good and helpful and helps when I got into in any problem.
Fees is not very much high comparative to other colleges and that's a very important aspect compared to other colleges.

Dislikes

Course curriculum is not good and I hate very much academics.
No fest and no party events are happen in my college.
75% attendance is same as of other colleges.

Placement Experience:

There is average rate of placement in my college and there you got a similar package like other and there are not many MNCs companies that give offers to students and there is more service based companies to get low package offers.

Brief intro. About NIET, greater noida

Likes

First year faculties was good and many are phd holders
Girls to boys ratio is almost decent to good.
Library provide free books till sem. end and also 4 notebooks each sem.

Dislikes

There is no big fests and no any big celebrities come.
Campus is small and first years are keep seprated in a school like environment.
In first year during lunch time they not allowed to go outside of the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since niet is autonomous institute. So syllabus is designed by the college itself so they try to make syllabus better so that it helps students to became more capable of cracking placements and internships.

The overall inviornment of the college is very good , you can enrole yourself in the multiple clubs and can aquire a lot of skil sets .
teachers are very helpfull and they will cater all of your doubts
ciricular and extra caricular activities are very good, you will get all the books requires for the semester from the college library itself.

Dislikes

things i disliked the most that this college is very much crowded
here are a lot of sections for one branch , like in cse there are total 7-8 sections
1st year classes will be held in new campus, but when you will enter in your second year the classes will take place in old campus

This college is autonomus so you don't need to worry about the course curriculum because they will teach on the basis of latest market requirement, you have to maintain 85% syllabus because this college is autonomus. Very strict collage. In first year the not allow to go homes.

Likes

College is autonomous which gives a extra advantage which includes in college semester exam. The syllabus is also designed by the college according to industry needs.
College has smart classroom which includes smart boards, cctv. The faculties of the department are highly skilled.
Labs are well equipped and college have different labs for different department which includes idea lab, meta verse lab, 3D printing lab etc.

Dislikes

Campus area is very small. Infrastructure is not pretty much good.
There is less feast in the college because of small campus area.
You will not get campus life vibes. College placement is also average.

Placement Experience:

If we talk about in campus placement you are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package in incampus placement was 20 lpa which is offered by Zscaler and offcampus was 51.2 lpa which is offered by microsoft. Percentage of students gets placed was 90%. Average placement was 4 lpa . Campanies like Accenture, Capgemini, TCS, Wipro etc.

Ya I liked the infa of my college.. yup my college have two campus one campus is only for first year student and the second is only for 2-3-4 year student.. so yaa my college have a good reputation in all over india

My college campus was not good and classroom haven't ac.. so and my college didn't arrange a fest event etc only study study..

I take btech course in branch cs because there a lot of options.. and I like coding so I take it and I like to solve maths problem and I have also done c/c++ both computer language and currently I doing python

Review of NIET by a 1st year student

No doubt this college give you environment to achieve success. Along with that social interaction is very good as NIET clubs are very active.
NIET has good quality of faculties. They are very supportive and few have industry experience too.
Since It is an autonomous college. So it's curriculum is updated and they focus on building skills inside you. Like they focus in you communication skills by doing different type of activities.

Dislikes

They have another campus for 1st year student. So for the 1st year it is very hard to interact with seniors.
There are some unnecessary subjects in 1st year like COI (Constitution of India).
If you are in 1st year you have to live in another campus hostel which is arround 2-3 km from college. Yes, college provide bus service.

Placement Experience:

After passing 6th semester you're eligible for placements with certain criterias like attendance, etc. This year the height package was 26 lakh from Zscalar Around 80-95% college students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to join a good reputed IT company.

There is no ragging of junior by seniors and friendly behaviour

Dislikes

College campus is real small in area it is 14 acres
There is some facilities which where shown in website are not in campus

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in 7 semester. Some of good company came like Amazon give 3 student of 10L,44Land 44L package . Microsoft give a student 51L package.average placement is 3-4L.most of students got placed in mass recruiter companies.

Likes

college provides coursera courses and conduct mandatory workshops for technologies.
there is no uniform policy as certain colleges here in greater noida has specific dress code.
college has very experienced faculty and they are very helpful.

Dislikes

mandatory 75 percent attendance criteria.
college can debarred you from examinations if the attendance is short
unnecessary fines in every thing. if we are unable to attend workshop then if we have to pay 1000 rupees fine per day

Course Curriculum Overview:

course curriculam is mot helftic and one can score good marks with minimal efforts. the curriculam is up to date with trends in IT industries and we are not bound with the old syllabus of AKTU. the curriculam is very relevant to the industry.

NIET ( a great journey)

Likes

There is very good professors who provide their undivided attention on the students specially in first year .
Class provides a good environment both academically and socially
There are 30 girls 40 boys in my class which I a good ratio

Dislikes

They teach too much and a little tight schedule
There are too often exams which provide us less time to prepare
Attendance is 85 percentage mendetory for all.

Placement Experience:

In my college placement are a little bit better then other colleges in my area . Here you can get internship from 2 nd year and sit in placement rounds from 3rd year . Some companies like Amazon, Accenture, Jaypee Morgan, TCS, HCl, etc. frequently comes to our college. The highest placement is 54 lakhs this year till now and average is 4.5 lakh. Almost 90 percent student get placed and some opt for higher studies. I also want to get placed in a reputed company after graduation

Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology is affiliated to Abdul Kalam Technical University, offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses Engineering, Management, and Pharmacy. The campus is spread across an area of 13.90 acres and ranked 49th by the NIRF among top engineering colleges ranking 2020. The college is ranked 1st position in Greater Noida and 11th position by The Times of India Best Placement Colleges in North India.

Admission:

Admission is given on the basis of marks secured in UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) conducted by AKTU.
The cut off required for admission in CSE ranged from 23987-34341 whereas, for IT, it was 39557-57731.
Students must have completed 12th class(minimum 45%) in the Science stream, to be eligible for UG courses.
Students must hold a Bachelor’s degree for admission into PG courses.

Course and fees:

The course fees for BTech costs around 4.6 lakh for 4 years that includes tuition fees, application fees, hostel, mess, and other necessities.
