MD Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria
The general eligibility for MD 2025 admissions is as follows.
- Only Indian citizens are eligible to take the entrance examinations.
- Candidates must possess a Medical Council Act of India (MCI)-recognized Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate or an MBBS degree.
- They should have completed the one-year internship.
It should be noted that candidates from the state of JK who have earned their MBBS degree are not eligible for seats under the 50% All India Quota. However, those who receive a nomination from the Indian government under the Central Pool Seats programme to pursue an MBBS at a medical school or university in Jammu and Kashmir (JK) are qualified for the 50% All India Quota seats.

Application for MD Admission 2025
Students have to fill out the online form from the official website. The general steps are as follows.
Step 1: Navigate to the official NEET PG webpage.
Step 2: Then select the 'New Registration' link. Make sure to follow the directions.
Step 3: Get a User ID and Password by correctly completing the registration form. After that, log in using the credentials.
Step 4: Complete the application form with the requested details, and attach a passport-sized photo and your signature.
Step 5: Select the city or cities of your choice for the test, and pay the required exam fees.
Step 6: Finally, take a printout of the NEET PG 2025 Application Form filled out with the transaction ID.
MD Admission 2025: Counselling and Merit List
- Candidates are selected through their ranks (All India Rank, All India 50% Quota Category Rank, All India 50% Quota Rank, and State Quota Rank) and will be called for counselling.
- During the counselling procedure, candidates must enter their preferred courses and colleges. Candidates' admission into the MD program will be based on their NEET PG entrance exam ranking, their filled-out preferences, and lastly, the availability of seats.
