The Meghalaya Board generally announces the sslc examination time table in the first week of January. The application process for MBOSE examination 2022 is expected to commence in the month of Nov-Dec 2021. The exam for the year 2021 was canceled due to the outbreak of the pandemic but if situations remain under control the board will conduct the sslc exam for the year 2022. MBOSE SSLC Important Points to Remember

The syllabus of the MBOSE SSLC examination has witnessed a change since the onset of the pandemic. The examination pattern has seen various changes.

  • The syllabus has been reduced by 30%.
  • The exams for general courses are conducted for a total of 100 marks. Exams for vocational courses are conducted for a total of 30 marks.
  • The total marks of the exam will be 80 for the candidates who have submitted an internal assessment of 20 marks.
  • The candidates who haven’t submitted their internal assessment will have to attempt a full 100 marks exam.
  • The internal exams for vocational courses are conducted for 70 marks (50 practical +20 internals).

  • Make a study schedule based on the Timetable.
  • Follow the syllabus and your textbooks recommended by the board.
  • Make a list of all the key formulas and rules as they form the foundations of each chapter.

Ques: How many sample papers should I attempt before appearing for MBOSE SSLC 2022?

Ans: The answer to this question depends upon your practice. If you feel you need practice in a certain subject, then you can practice more from the sample papers of that respective subject. Make sure you use sample papers from reliable sources.

Ques: How many candidates appear for the MBOSE SSLC exam every year?

Ans: Approx 50,000 students appear every year to attempt the exam. Last year 51, 334 candidates appeared for the MBOSE SSLC out of which 28,412 were girls and 22,922 were boys.

Ques: What are the passing marks for MBOSE SSLC exam 2022?

Ans: The passing marks are different for the candidates who have submitted their internal assessment and for those who have failed to do so. Candidates who have submitted their internal assessment need minimum 24 marks out of 80 to pass. Those who didn't, needed to score a minimum of 30 marks out of 100 to pass.

Ques: What is the marking scheme for the MBOSE SSLC 2022 exam?

Ans: The marking scheme is different for General and Vocational Subjects.

For General subjects: 80 marks for theory plus 20 marks for internals.
