- Less friendly students
Campus Life
- There are 2 campuses, as far as I know, one in Berlin and the other one is in Bad honnef. There is not much difference in campuses; the only difference is that Berlin is a big city and the capital of Germany so u have many options for a part-time job as a student, whereas Bad honnef is like a small town but in that you can work in nearby cities of Bad honnef. And there are no such clubs and events taking place in our college.
- The full-time employment prospects at IU International University of Applied Sciences provide encouraging job opportunities to its graduates. Students who completed their studies with IU International University of Applied Sciences will find employment within six months; most graduates obtain job positions during that period at an 80–85% rate.

- College campus is so overwhelming.
- The location is very nice.
- Class timings are so students friendly.
Dislikes
- Very less cultural activities.
- Many of the students are less friendly
- There is accommodation provided by campus
Campus Life
- There are 2 campuses available right now, one in Berlin and the other in Bad Hof. In the Bad Hof campus, you can get the student accommodation from IU but it is not available in berlin and campus life here in Berlin is so refreshing.
- The major clubs in college are like marketing for MBA students and coding clubs for CS students.
Accommodation
- Usually the search method is online or via groups on social media or if anyone you know is residing there, this process will be very easy. There are many challenges, such as fake advertisements and scams; be aware of them.
- Always ask for contracts before the final steps, and try to get along with your batchmates and share an apartment; it will be cost-effective.

Campus Life
- My college has 2 campuses, one in Berlin and one in Bad Hof. Both are good but I prefer Berlin because you can explore more in Berlin. Also, Berlin is the capital of Germany so you have more options than Bad Hof. But on both campuses, no fest clubs are there. This is the only disadvantage. But you can explore the country.
- I don't know much related to full-time jobs because I am in my first year of college but there are no placements from college; you have to find jobs on your own. U have to apply through LinkedIn or you can directly apply to companies and give an interview. Colleges can only prefer your CV to some companies but you have to do most of the work.

- Affordable fees,
- Well-designed campus,
Dislikes
- Most students were Indian,
- There was a lack of proper management,
- The college didn’t respond well to discrepancies (like visa issues)
Campus Life
- There were some activities, events, fests for new joiners. But I didn’t participate in any events. They had summer parties, welcoming parties etc. IU has two campus one in berlin and another one in Bonn.
- Berlin is not good. They don’t arrange parties often but students arrange small house parties and enjoy that. The berlin campus doesn’t have much facilities, just classrooms.
Accommodation
- I got my accommodation through housinganywhere just searched for nice private room and got the apartment paid around 750 euro monthly, all facilities included, There was no challenge.
- I would recommend students to use housinganywhere. My place was near to university it was 20 minutes ride. I didn’t interact with indian students so I don’t know popular locations.

Two campuses are available for International Students, i.e. Berlin and Bad-Honeff. Libraries, accommodations and other facilities are available. I chose the Berlin Campus. Various clubs, like coding, comedy, marketing and other major clubs, are available to choose from.
Accommodation
I searched a lot for accommodations and finally found various groups on social media sites via which I rented a shared apartment with 2 of my friends. Please be aware of the scams and false apartment videos that are made to loot you. Always ask for a Legal Contract before finalising.

A move towards excellence- A comprehensive review of IU International University of Applied Sciences
Likes
- I liked how accessible the student department is. Staffs in the college are always there to help in all the ways. Be it academic, finding jobs, co-curricular, finding accommodation etc. .
- Professors- The professors here are highly qualified. I like their way of teaching, where they don't just want us to learn everything by heart. They teach real life case studies which helps us to understand the course material better.
- Exposure- The students are from all around the world. This helps us to connect with them, and understand other cultures.
Dislikes
- Although the university offers a German course in campus, but it is paid. I would really like if the university provide a basic A level German course free of cost or at a minimalistic fee , so that every student can take advantage of that.
Campus Life
IU provides a vibrant campus life. Students from all over the world come to study and learn. This gives us an opportunity to immerse ourselves in different cultures. Although the number of fellow countrymen varies according to intake, I have found a good number of Indians there. In my class of 15, there are 3 Indians including me. The university is well equipped with online and offline libraries, where we can find several books, academic journals, etc for study and research. Well-maintained courts and fields are available for the students who enjoy various sports such as football, tennis, badminton, basketball etc. There are health centres on campus where trained and equipped health professionals are there for health needs. One can join various clubs according to their needs and interests. Each club are dedicated to music, dance, photography, entrepreneurship etc. The university also organizes an annual fest.
Accommodation
My accommodation is a studio apartment, which I share with one person. The average monthly expense of accommodation for me is 400 Euro. The university hostels are definitely cheaper, but there is a long waiting period for this. STW is another option, which offers cheap and best accommodation, which includes a single room to 1 BHK. A student should apply for these as soon as possible, as again there are waiting periods. The university also gives a Mensa card, which allows a subsidized meal in any university's canteen in the city.

- The myriad of study program which is as per the industry requirements.
- IU's up to date courses in every study program and IU update it on regular basis.
- Flexibility and Quality of education is the one of the most liked thing.
Campus Life
I like IU University for the new concept of study IU introduced in education which is blended learning and the flexibility of examination, Which you will not get anywhere in the world that is why students from all over the world get admitted to IU and it becomes the largest University of Germany. Diversity could be found in everything at IU.
Accommodation
IU has accommodation facilities for students for their Bad Honnef campus so any student enrolled there could easily get the university accommodation. However, if you choose the Berlin campus IU could help to find the accommodation in Berlin.

Campus Life
Well, when I came in 2019 to Berlin, the campus life was good. The college is organizing some events like Christmas party but after Covid everything. And it seems like there is no college life or events or something going on that keeps the students motivated and socializing.
Accommodation
The competition is pretty tough in Berlin in terms of housing but thankfully college it was a registered college, so I got an opportunity to live in one of these subsidised houses from STW. But now as I'm close to graduating I really have to think about my accommodation

The library and sports facilities are well-equipped, and medical facilities are easily accessible. The campus has students from diverse backgrounds and nationalities. Notably, IU has campuses in Bad Honnef and Berlin, each offering unique opportunities for students. Additionally, campus fests such as the International Day and clubs like the Sustainability Club provide an excellent platform for co-curricular activities.

Students have the option to choose from a variety of accommodations. Off-campus options are usually selected based on factors such as location, safety, cost, and proximity to public transportation. Campus Life
Student life at IU International University is beyond amazing, with a diverse student community and a variety of co-curricular activities. I found students from different countries, which made them feel like life global village. The IU infrastructure was Top-notch with state of art facilities. The Campus of IU hosts fests and events throughout the year. Overall the student life at IU is vibrant and offers plenty of opportunities to explore one's interests and passions outside the classroom. It was my best decision to get into this university.
Accommodation
Managing my stay while pursuing a degree at IU was a breeze. I had the option to choose between on-campus and off-campus depending on my preference. The university offers an affordable hostel equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. For Off-campus housing, I was able to easily find apartments in the nearby areas, as the university has a good connection with local real estate agents. The shortlisting process was based on factors such as proximity to the university, safety and affordability. The cost of groceries ad dining out was reasonable and the city has a great food culture with plenty of options. Overall, managing my stay is stress-free and I'm able to focus on my education without worrying about my living arrangements. For On-Online students, study and give exams at their own pace, so they do not require any accommodation etc.
