Registrations for the All India Forensic Science Entrance Test (AIFSET) 2026 are currently live, for admission to top undergraduate (B.Sc) and postgraduate (M.Sc) programs within universities across India.

The test serves as a national-level entrance exam for students wishing to pursue a career in forensic science, which is a rapidly growing field in both scientific and criminal investigative circles. AIFSET for 2026 will be an entry conducted in online mode on October 31.

AIFSET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

For B.Sc Forensic Science Admission:

• Candidate must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with PCB or PCM
• It is required to have a minimum aggregate of 50%
• Candidates who are currently waiting for their 10+2 results can apply
• There is a maximum of 3 attempts allowed for each candidate

For M.Sc Forensic Science Admission:

• Candidate must have completed B.Sc in Forensic Science or any Science graduate degree
• It is required to have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks
• Students in their final semester would also be eligible to apply
• There is a maximum of 3 attempts allowed for each candidate

AIFSET 2026 Examination Guidelines

1. The examination will be in online mode
2. Candidates may use their mobile phone, laptop, or desktop computer
3. Duration - 60 minutes
4. Format - 100 MCQs (1 mark each) with no negative marking
5. Log in at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start
6. The exam will be monitored using camera, sound and browser activity tracking
7. Screens will be recording through the entire exam time
