The Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra has announced the schedule for the Special Round of MBA Admissions 2026. Candidates who missed the previous rounds or are seeking fresh entry into the management program can now check the important dates and application procedures.

According to the official notification available at bitmesra.ac.in, the special round is being conducted to fill the remaining vacant seats across its various campuses. The selection process will continue to prioritize valid scores from national-level entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, or CMAT, followed by a personal interview.

How to Apply for BIT MBA 2026 Special Round?

  1. Visit the official website: bitmesra.ac.in/admission.
  2. Navigate to the "MBA Admission 2026 Special Round" notification link.
  3. Register yourself using a valid email ID and mobile number.
  4. Fill in the academic details and upload the required scorecards (CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT).
  5. Pay the application fee through the online payment gateway.
  6. Submit the form and keep a printed copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

Class 10 and 12 Marksheets and Passing Certificates. Graduation Degree Certificate and Marksheets (all semesters). Valid Scorecard of CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT 2025/2026.

One valid government-issued photo ID (Voter ID, Passport, or [Aadhaar Redacted]). Recent passport-size photographs. Caste Certificate (if applicable).

Candidates must ensure they meet the minimum eligibility criteria (50% marks in graduation for General/OBC and 45% for SC/ST) before applying. The selection will be based on the cumulative performance in the entrance exam and the personal interview round.
