The AP ECET 2024 exam was held on May 8, 2024 for Diploma/B.Sc-qualified candidates for lateral entry admission (in second-year degree programs) to Engineering Courses in the colleges in Andhra Pradesh. According to the authorities, 36,369 students took the AP ECET 2024 exam.

The minimum qualifying percentage for AP ECET 2024 for general is 25% in the four subjects (three subjects for B.Sc. Mathematics) or 50 out of 200. There is no qualifying marks set for the SC and ST categories. There will be different tie-breaking policies for Engineering, Pharmacy, and BSc with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects.
