The Ashoka Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Varanasi, has commenced its admission process for the academic year 2026-27. The institute is inviting applications for its diverse range of Undergraduate (UG) and MBA programs.

Prospective candidates looking to secure a seat in one of Eastern Uttar Pradesh's prominent technical hubs must submit their applications by the stipulated deadline of August 31, 2026. AITM Varansi admission cycle covers several key disciplines, including B.Tech, B.Pharm, BCA, and MBA.

The institute, affiliated with AKTU Lucknow, continues to follow a hybrid selection model, accepting scores from national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, CUET UG, and CUET PG, while also providing provisions for direct admission under the management quota for eligible students.

For the 2026 session, the institute has maintained rigorous yet accessible standards for its applicants. Candidates seeking entry into the B.Tech program must have cleared their 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the science stream. For the MBA program, a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST) is mandatory.

The selection process is merit-based. For technical courses, valid scores in JEE Main or CUET are prioritised during the UPTAC counselling rounds. MBA aspirants are evaluated based on their performance in CUET PG, MAT, or CAT.

Those opting for direct admission must meet the minimum academic eligibility criteria and may be required to undergo an institutional interview or screening. The total fee for B.Tech is ₹3.76 Lakhs - ₹4.16 Lakhs, while MBA costs ₹2.47 Lakhs. The application/registration fee is ₹3,000.
