Assam NEET PG Counselling 2024: Choice Filling Open, Check Complete Schedule here

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam, has released the schedule for the first round of online counselling for admission to 50% Post Graduate (PG) seats in government medical colleges and Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute (BBCI), Guwahati. The process follows the updated Medical Colleges of Assam (Regulation of Admission into Post Graduate Degree and Diploma Courses) Rules, 2021. Candidates can complete the choice filling process on or before November 23, 2024 (Until 5:00 PM).

Key Dates for Round 1 Counselling

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have appeared in NEET PG 2024 conducted by NBE.
• They must meet the NEET PG 2024 cut-off percentiles.
• Their name and NEET PG Roll Number should appear in the Revised Merit List issued by DME.

Key Instructions for Candidates

1. Online Registration: Candidates must register on the official portal from November 18–20, 2024.
2. Choice Filling: Available online from November 21–23, 2024, with choice locking on November 23 between 4:00 PM and 11:55 PM. Unlocked choices will be locked automatically after the deadline.
3. Seat Allotment and Results: The seat allotment process will take place from November 24–25, 2024, and results will be declared on November 26, 2024.
4. Document Verification: Provisionally selected candidates must report to the DME Office in Guwahati for verification on November 28–29, 2024.
5. Reporting to Institutions: Final admissions at allotted institutions are scheduled for December 3–4, 2024.
