Professor Prabina Rajib takes over from Harivansh Chaturvedi as the new director of BIMTECH, Greater Noida. With awe-inspiring experience over two decades, Dr Rajib has held various roles in leadership, including the Dean of VGSOM.
New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) has appointed Professor Prabina Rajib from the Accounting and Finance Department as the new director.
Professor Prabina Rajib will now take over Harivansh Chaturvedi, taking over from the longest-serving director of BIMTECH with 25 years of experience. The new director’s portfolio includes roles in teaching, research, and consultancy.
Dr. Rajib has authored and co-authored influential books, Stock Exchange Investment and Derivative and Commodity Derivatives and Risk Management (2014), respectively.
With awe-inspiring experience over two decades, Dr Rajib has held various roles in leadership, including the Dean of VGSOM. She has published and presented extensively in journals and conferences at national and international levels.
“Her promotions in 2007 and 2011 underscore her significant contributions to academia, emphasizing her unwavering commitment to excellence at IIT Kharagpur,” the institute said.
Harivash Chaturvedi the outgoing director will now serve as the chief educational advisor of Birla Academy of Art and Culture, the parent body of BIMTECH and Birla Global University (BGU), And will also be a member of the Board of two institutions.
