BOPEE Announces Special Stray Vacancy Round Schedule for AYUSH-UG Admissions

New Delhi: The Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has announced the schedule for conducting a Special Stray Vacancy Round as an additional round for admission to vacant AYUSH-UG seats under Government/Government-Aided/Central University/National Institutes. 

Candidates who have a valid NEET Score can apply for the JK NEET AYUSH Special Stray Vacancy Counselling. This decision comes in light of the revised minimum percentile criteria of NEET (UG)-2023, adjusted by 5 percentile across all categories. The Stray Vacancy Round of Counselling will be physically held offline on November 24, 2023, following the outlined schedule.

BOPEE AYUSH-UG Special Stray Vacancy Round Dates 

Candidates participating in the counseling process for the first time are recommended to submit a counseling fee of INR 1000 on the counseling day using POS Machines available at BOPEE offices in Jammu/Srinagar, through Debit/Credit card.

Additionally, these candidates are advised to bring all original Certificates/Documents for thorough checking and verification during the counseling session.

Reduced Cut-off Percentile: 

Candidates falling within the revised percentile qualifying score of NEET - UG Ayush courses 2023, and desiring to partake in the Special Stray Vacancy Round of Upgradation/Allotment Counseling against remaining vacant seats or those anticipated in the Mop Up Round, were instructed to register and submit the required documents physically at BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar by November 21, 2023, until 2:00 PM.

Eligible candidates not previously registered and not listed in annexure A of Notification No. 082-BOPEE of 2023 dated September 20, 2023, in the UT merit list of 2023 but seeking consideration against available unfilled seats and anticipated shortfall can also submit their documents physically at BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar for registration within the specified time frame (until November 21, 2023, till 02:00 pm).

Documents Required for BOPEE NEET AYUSH Stray Vacancy Counseling:

• Domicile Certificate
• 12th Class Marks Card
• DOB Certificate/10th Class Marks Card issued by the Board
• Category Certificate, wherever applicable
• NEET-2023 scorecard

Candidates who were allocated a seat/college in the Mop Up Round but did not join will not be eligible for participation in the Stray Vacancy Round under any circumstances. Those who were absent or received CNA/SNA during the 1st, 2nd, and Mop Up Rounds are eligible. Candidates who were allotted a seat/college in the First/Second Round(s) but did not join will also be eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round of counseling.

Candidates who were allotted seats during the Mop Up Round and joined but wish to upgrade can participate in the Stray Vacancy Round of Physical counseling. However, they must produce the fee deposition receipt of the allocated College during their admission.

Candidates allotted seats in AIQ during the 2nd/Mop Up/Stray rounds and have joined the Institutions, as well as those participating in AIQ Stray rounds, are not eligible for participation in this counseling round.
