Application forms for class 10 and 12 private students have been released on the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

CBSE Board Exam 2021: Category-Wise Private Students Details

The following tabulation gives the details of categories for CBSE Class 10 and 12 private students who wish to apply for CBSE 2021 board exam.

Category	Details
Compartment Category	Candidates who could not pass the main examination held in March 2020 and placed into compartment exams come under this category Such candidate could apply just for the compartment subjects Candidates who wish to apply for all the courses should apply under the Failure category Candidates should give details about the main examination to apply under this category This is applicable for CBSE Class 12 students
Improvement	Candidates who have passed the main exam held in March 2020 but were not satisfied with their performance could apply under this category Candidates should give details about the main examination to apply under this category Candidates could apply for the respective subjects where they are unsatisfied.
Failures	Candidates who could not pass both the main exam and the subsequent compartment exam should apply under this category Candidates should give details about the main examination to apply under this category Under this category, candidates should apply for all the 5 subjects
Additional Subject	Candidates who passed the main exam held in March and wish to study additional subjects should apply under this category Candidates can select any subject except the ones which are already passed. Candidates should give details about the main examination to apply under this category
Female/PwD	Women or PwD candidates who are bonafide residents of Delhi could apply under this category They could select any non-practical subjects.
