CBSE Class 10 Second Board Exam 2026 LOC Submission Begins

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) officially opened the submission window for the Class 10 Second Board Exam 2026 List of Candidates (LOC) on April 16, 2026. Students interested in registering must complete their submissions by April 20, 2026, as per the official circular.

LOC Submission Phases and Fee Structure

Phase Submission Period Fee
Regular Phase April 2026 (as per circular) ₹320 per subject
Late Phase After deadline (limited window) ₹320 per subject + late fee

Fee payment is accepted only through online modes including Debit/Credit Card, NEFT, RTGS, UPI, and Net Banking.

Who Is Eligible?

  • Students who passed the Class 10 Main Exam 2026 can improve performance in up to 3 subjects (Science, Mathematics, Social Science, Languages).
  • Students may switch their Mathematics option between Standard and Basic levels.
  • Compartment category students are eligible to appear.
  • Students in the ER category are NOT eligible.
  • CWSN students: No new registrations; only those registered in the first exam may continue.

If a student pays the fee but does not appear for the exam, the Main Exam 2026 result will be treated as the final result. The syllabus for the second board exam is the same as the Main Examination 2026.

How to Apply

Schools must submit the LOC on behalf of eligible students through the official CBSE portal at cbse.gov.in. Students should coordinate with their respective schools to ensure timely registration.
