CBSE Class 12 Compartment Examination Result 2020: Highlights

1. On Friday, the CBSE declared the Class 12 compartment outcome on the Board's official portal, cbse.nic.in.
2. From 22 to 30 September, CBSE conducted Class 12 compartment tests.
3. For the Class 12th compartment examinations, around 87,651 students have registered.

CBSE carried out the Class 12 compartment tests this year, which began on 22 September and concluded on 29 September.

Compartment examinations for Class 10 were conducted from 22 to 28 September. More than 9000 candidates have registered for the 2020 CBSE Compartment Exams.

The Supreme Court of India stated that candidates whose results were declared in the examinations scheduled for 1 July to 15 July on the basis of the assessment scheme would be permitted to appear in the optional examinations to improve their performance if they so wished.

The marks acquired in the optional examinations by the candidate will be treated as the final marks.

This year, CBSE announced the results of Class 12 on the Board's website on July 13.

On the same day, the results were declared for all three streams. The passing percentage of CBSE 12 results has increased by 5.38 percent compared to last year, which registered 88.78 percent.

This year, because of the pandemic, the Board did not release any merit list. The highest pass percentage was recorded by the Thiruvananthapuram region at 97.67 and the lowest pass percentage was recorded by Patna at 74.57 percent.

Statistical Highlights

The Compartmental Exam for Class 12 students for the 2020 session was held in the midst of the precarious situation of the pandemic.

Despite all the difficulties, however, the board has succeeded in completing the evaluation work and announcing CBSE 12th Compartmental Results 2020 in a record time of 8 days.
