CG PAT 2026 Registration Begins; Applications Close on April 27

Chhattisgarh Vyapam has officially announced the registration schedule for the Pre-Agriculture Test (PAT) and Pre-Veterinary Professional Test (PVPT) 2026 entrance examination. Candidates seeking admission to agriculture and allied courses can now register online on the official Vyapam portal at https://vyapamcg.cgstate.gov.in. The registration window remains open from April 2, 2026, until April 27, 2026, at 5:00 PM, providing interested students with approximately 25 days to complete their application process.

The CG PAT/PVPT 2026 entrance examination is designed for admission to six prestigious agricultural and allied programs across Chhattisgarh state universities. This single-window entrance test opens pathways to BSc (Hons.) Agriculture, BSc (Hons.) Horticulture, BSc (Hons.) Forestry, B.Tech (Dairy Technology), Diploma in Animal Husbandry, and Diploma in Fisheries Science courses.

The examination is being conducted by Chhattisgarh Vyapam in coordination with Indira Gandhi Agricultural University (Raipur), Dau Shri Vasudeva Chandrakar Kamdhenu University (Durg), and Mahatma Gandhi Horticultural and Forestry University (Durg). This entrance test serves as the primary selection criterion for merit-based admission to these agricultural programs in the state.

CG PAT/PVPT 2026 Important Dates

The entrance examination will be held in a single session on June 21, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM, with a total duration of three hours and fifteen minutes. The question paper will cover subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, testing candidates' conceptual understanding and problem-solving abilities in these core science disciplines.

Candidates must visit the official Vyapam website and complete their online application form with accurate personal and educational details. During registration, applicants need to upload required documents, including their 12th-grade mark sheet, identity proof, and passport-sized photograph in the specified format. The application fee must be paid online through the portal during the registration process, and candidates should retain their application number and password for future reference and admit card download.

Chhattisgarh state residents who appear for the examination are eligible for fee reimbursement as per state government regulations. The examination will be conducted across 33 district headquarters throughout Chhattisgarh, allowing candidates to select their preferred exam centre during the application process.
