Chandigarh University has opened CUCET 2026 Phase 1 registration for Admission 2026, with the exam scheduled on February 1.

Chandigarh University has started the Phase 1 registration process for CUCET 2026 for students seeking admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Eligible candidates can submit their application forms until January 31, 2026 through the official admission portal.

The CUCET Phase 1 examination will be conducted on February 1, 2026. The university follows a structured admission process through CUCET, offering candidates an opportunity to secure seats along with merit-based scholarships based on entrance test performance.

The CUCET 2026 Phase 1 registration is currently ongoing and will close on January 31, 2026. Candidates who successfully complete the registration process will be eligible to appear for the Phase 1 entrance test on February 1, 2026. Applicants are advised to complete the form well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues and ensure smooth exam participation.

Chandigarh University allows candidates to apply for CUCET 2026 through online and offline modes. In the online mode, applicants need to register on the official portal, pay the ₹1,000 application fee, fill in academic details, select the exam date, and appear for the test online using login credentials.

For offline applications, candidates can purchase the brochure-cum-application form, register using the unique code provided, complete academic details online, choose an exam date, and take the exam through the official portal.

The CUCET 2026 exam will be conducted in computer-based online mode with a total duration of 120 minutes. The test will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) based on the programme selected by the candidate.

Students qualifying in Phase 1 will be considered for Chandigarh University’s merit-based scholarships, which may range from partial fee concessions to up to 100% tuition fee waiver, depending on performance.

For UG admissions, candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 from a recognised board. For PG admissions, applicants should possess a relevant bachelor’s degree or be in the final year of graduation. After the exam, results will be released on the official portal, followed by merit-based counselling for seat allotment and scholarship confirmation.
