New Delhi: The CLAT result 2024 has been released by the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs). To access the result, candidates should visit the official website @consortiumofnlus.ac.in and provide their CLAT application number/admit card number along with their date of birth.

The CLAT 2024 results include the candidate's marks in the CLAT 2024 exam, along with both All India rank and category rank. Now tha the CLAT 2024 result has been declared, the CLAT merit list 2024 will also be released anytime now. Admission to the 23 NLUs will be determined based on merit cum preference.

Recently, the CLAT 2024 examination took place in offline mode on December 3, 2023 across 139 examination centers nationwide. The provisional CLAT 2024 answer key was released on December 4, 2023. The scores obtained in CLAT 2024 will be applicable for admission to 23 national law universities and over 60 affiliated law schools.

Step 3: Log in with your application number/admit card number and date of birth

Step 4: View your CLAT 2024 scorecard on the screen

Step 5: Download and print your result for future reference

What are the Details Mentioned on CLAT 2024 Results?

The CLAT 2024 result will include the following information:

• Candidate's name
• Roll number and application number
• Parent's name
• All India CLAT rank and category rank
• Marks secured in the CLAT 2024 exam

What is the Passing Marks for CLAT 2024 

The Consortium does not define specific passing or qualifying marks for CLAT 2024. Candidate placement in the CLAT merit list will be based on their ranks, determined by their CLAT 2024 scores. In the event of a tie, relevant tiebreaker rules will be implemented. 

What is CLAT 2024 Merit List and Invite List?

In addition to releasing the CLAT result, the consortium will also release the CLAT merit list and the CLAT invite list. The CLAT 2024 merit list will present candidates in order of their ranks. 

Simultaneously, the authorities will publish the CLAT 2024 invite list, featuring candidates shortlisted and invited for counseling. The CLAT invite list for 2024 is expected to include approximately 15,000 names, roughly five times the number of available seats.

What is the Tie Breaker Rule for CLAT 2024 Result? 

In the event of a tie in marks, the ranking will be determined by the following rules:

• The candidate with a higher score in legal reasoning will be given a higher rank.
• If the tie persists, the age of the candidates will be considered, and the senior candidate will be ranked higher.
• If the tie continues, the rank will be decided by drawing computerized lots.

CLAT 2024 Expected Cut-Offs

As per feedback from students and experts, the CLAT 2024 exam is considered easier compared to the previous year. Consequently, expectations are for higher CLAT cut-offs in 2024.

According to the CLAT experts, achieving a score of 90 or above is considered good in CLAT. However, the CLAT cut-off ranks are anticipated to remain largely consistent with the previous year.
