CUET UG 2026: Photo Mismatch Issue

NTA has identified that in several cases, the live photograph captured during CUET UG 2026 registration does not match the photograph linked with identity documents. To address this issue, affected candidates have been given a chance to verify their identity.

What Candidates Need to Do?

Candidates must upload a signed and attested certificate along with a recent photograph. The document should be certified by the school/college principal or headmaster.

If these authorities are not accessible, candidates can get the certificate attested by a Class-I Gazetted Officer, such as a Tehsildar, SDM, DM, or an Officer from the Indian Embassy (for NRI candidates). Additionally, a printed copy of the same must be produced at the examination centre for physical verification on the day of the examination.
