The Diploma Engineering Entrance Examination of Tripura (DEEET) 2026 registration deadline has been extended to April 30, 2026. Eligible candidates must apply online at deeet.tripura.gov.in before the new deadline.

The Central Selection Committee (CSC) under Tripura's Department of Higher Education has extended the DEEET 2026 online application deadline to April 30, 2026. Originally scheduled to close on April 15, the extension provides additional time for eligible candidates to complete their registrations.
Aspirants can submit their applications through the official portal at deeet.tripura.gov.in using their valid email ID and mobile number.
DEEET is a state-level entrance examination conducted annually for admission into three-year Diploma Engineering courses across government and private polytechnic institutes in Tripura.
The exam determines merit-based seat allocation for various engineering disciplines. Candidates appearing for or having passed their 10th standard examination are eligible to apply, provided they meet the minimum 35% marks requirement.

Candidates must register with a valid unique email ID and mobile number, which will be verified through OTP before registration. The application process requires filling personal, educational, and address details accurately. Submitting multiple applications is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification from the examination.
The application fee is ₹350 for General, SC, and ST category candidates, while BPL students pay ₹200 (processing charges and GST may apply). Payment must be made through net banking or debit card only; credit cards are not accepted.
Candidates must upload a passport-sized photograph and signature meeting specified size and format requirements. A printed confirmation page should be retained for future reference and document verification during counselling.

DEEET 2026 will be conducted in offline mode using the OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) system across five examination centers: Agartala, Udaipur, Belonia, Ambassa, and Dharmanagar. The exam duration is two hours, with an additional 20 minutes of compensatory time provided to PwD candidates.
The question paper comprises 100 multiple-choice questions divided into three sections: Mathematics (160 marks), Physical Science (160 marks), and English (80 marks). Each correct answer carries four marks, with one mark deducted for each incorrect response.
Admit cards will be released in the third week of April 2026 and must be downloaded from the official website using login credentials. Candidates must bring a printed copy of their admit card to the examination hall as it is mandatory for entry.
The answer key will be published in the second week of May 2026, allowing candidates to evaluate their performance and raise objections if necessary. Results will be declared in the fourth week of May 2026 in the form of a merit list.
