New Delhi: In collaboration with Bain & Company, FLAME University hosted the esteemed annual conference of the Indian Drugs Manufacturers' Association (IDMA)—Vriddhi 2024 on February 23 and 24, 2024.
Located on its Pune campus, the two-day conference saw over 40 influential business leaders, 50 prestigious organisations, investors, and policymakers converging for a national summit. The theme of this significant event was to scrutinise and evaluate the opportunities, challenges, and strategic pathways of the Indian pharmaceutical industry.
The conference emphasised the need to sustain a competitive edge and prioritise long-term objectives to generate value for all stakeholders involved. Discussions were made around establishing a platform for industry think tanks and academia to forge a forward-looking plan, ultimately contributing to socio-economic growth and development.
Dilip Shanghavi, Founder & Managing Director of Sun Pharmaceuticals, praised FLAME University for hosting the IDMA's Vriddhi Summit 2024. He expressed delight in participating in the event, highlighting its significance as a platform for entrepreneurs, industry experts, and academics to discuss opportunities and challenges in the Indian pharmaceutical industry. Shanghavi commended FLAME University for providing a conducive environment for learning and networking.
