The correction window opened on April 11, 2026, providing candidates with a three-day window to rectify mistakes in their submitted applications. This facility is being offered as an exceptional measure to enable candidates to correct errors in personal, academic, and other details. The NTA has clarified that this is a one-time correction opportunity, and no further chances will be provided after April 13, 2026.

Candidates can edit specific fields in their application forms during this correction window. The editable fields include personal details (only one can be edited: candidate name, father's name, mother's name, photograph, or signature), academic details (Class 10/equivalent, graduation, and post-graduation details), and other information such as date of birth, gender, category, and PwBD status. Candidates can also change their exam city, but only within the same state or union territory.
To make corrections, candidates must log in to the official portal using their application credentials and select the correction link provided. After modifying the necessary information, candidates should submit the changes and download the modified confirmation page for their records. If corrections involve a change in category or PwBD status, an additional fee may be applicable, which must be paid through credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI.
The NTA has stressed that this is a one-time facility extended to candidates to avoid hardship, and no further opportunity for correction will be given after today. Candidates are strongly advised to carefully review all information before submitting corrections, as mistakes cannot be rectified later.
