GIPE Admission 2026 is open for UG and PG programmes. Apply by April 2 for GCET Round 1, scheduled on April 12.
Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE) has opened the admission process for UG and PG programmes for the academic session 2026–27. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website till April 2, 2026, for GCET Round 1.
The institute will conduct the GIPE Common Entrance Test (GCET) for admission to UG and PG programmes. GCET Round 1 is scheduled to be held on April 12, 2026, while Round 2 will take place on May 31, 2026. Candidates can apply through GCET, CUET (UG/PG), or both, as CUET is not mandatory for admission.
As per the official schedule, the hall ticket for GCET Round 1 will be released on April 5, 2026. For Round 2, the last date to apply is May 21, 2026, and admit cards will be issued on May 23, 2026. The entrance exam will be conducted in computer-based mode across multiple centres.
GIPE GCET 2026 Important Dates
GIPE will conduct two GCET examinations for Admissions 2026. These examinations will be held separately for both UG and PG programmes on the mentioned day at different times. The day and date for the examination are as follows:

The GCET application fee is ₹1000 for Open/OBC candidates and ₹750 for SC/ST candidates. Candidates can appear for up to three exams, including CUET and both GCET rounds. The final merit list will be prepared based on the best score obtained across all applicable entrance exams.
