GPAT 2026

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is preparing to release the provisional answer key and individual response sheets for the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test GPAT 2026. Following the successful conduct of the exam on March 7, 2026, candidates are eagerly awaiting these documents to verify their performance and estimate their scores.

The release is a two-step process: a Provisional Key (open for challenges) followed by a Final Answer Key used for result calculation.

The Timing Wait: Why the GPAT 2026 Portal is Locked?

There has been some confusion among candidates regarding the exact availability of the login portal. While many expected the release earlier this week, the official candidate portal currently displays a specific access window.

Important Note: The login form is scheduled to be active only from March 13, 2026 (14:50 hrs) until March 16, 2026 (15:00 hrs).

If they are trying to log in before 2:50 PM on March 13, they will likely see a message stating that the form is unavailable. Candidates must wait for this specific time slot to download their response sheets.

GPAT 2026 Response Sheet & Answer Key Details

Once the NBEMS portal opens, candidates will be granted access to three essential documents: their Individual Response Sheet, the Provisional Answer Key, and the official Question Paper.

To estimate their performance, students should compare their recorded responses against the official keys for all 125 questions. According to the official marking scheme, a student must add +4 marks for every correct answer identified.

However, they must also account for negative marking by deducting -1 mark for every incorrect response. Questions that were left unattempted or marked for review do not affect the score, as they carry zero marks. By totaling the marks from correct answers and subtracting the penalty for errors, candidates can derive their predicted GPAT 2026 score.

GPAT 2026 Raising Objections

If a candidate finds a discrepancy in the provisional key, they can challenge it via the official portal.

  • Fee: A non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question is required.
  • Deadline: Challenges must be submitted before the portal closes at 3:00 PM on March 16, 2026.
