The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has declared the GPAT 2026 result on April 7, 2026. The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2026, conducted on March 7 in a computer-based format across the country, serves as a gateway for admission to M.Pharm, PhD programmes and scholarship awards.

As per the official notification, candidates have been declared qualified based on category-wise percentile criteria and overall merit ranking, approved by the Pharmacy Council of India. Notably, only the top 10% of candidates (5,362 out of 53,617) have been considered qualified in the merit list.

The board further informed that 7 questions were found technically incorrect, and full marks have been awarded to all candidates for those questions. Additionally, the answer key for 4 questions has been revised, with marks awarded only to candidates who selected the corrected answers.

A total of 5,362 candidates have qualified for the examination. Among them, the General category (including EWS) accounts for a significant share, while OBC-NCL candidates form the largest qualified group with 2,308 candidates. The data further shows that 900 SC candidates and 415 ST candidates have cleared the exam. Additionally, 123 candidates under the PwBD category have qualified.

The results highlight a competitive selection process, with qualification contingent not only on percentile but also on rank within the top 10% of candidates, in line with reservation norms.

Candidates can check their results on the official NBEMS website. The scorecards will be available for download from April 15, 2026, and will remain accessible for six months only. Applicants are advised to download and retain their scorecards within this period, as NBEMS will not issue them via post or email after the deadline.
