HITSEEE 2026 Registration Begins @hindustanuniv.ac.in; Apply by April 22

The Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS), Chennai, has announced the commencement of the registration process for the Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Engineering Entrance Examination (HITSEEE) 2026. The examination is conducted annually for admission to UG programmes in Engineering (B.Tech), Architecture (B.Arch), and Design (B.Des) offered by the institute.

As per the official schedule, the HITSEEE 2026 application form has been released on November 5, 2025, and the last date to apply online is April 22, 2026. The entrance examination will be conducted from April 27 to May 2, 2026, followed by counselling sessions scheduled between May 13 and May 20, 2026. The academic session for admitted candidates will commence in July 2026.

The registration process is entirely online. Candidates are required to visit the official website of HITS, enter their personal and academic details, choose their desired programme and specialisation, and submit the completed application form before the deadline. The helpline is available from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (IST) at 1800 425 44 38 for admission-related queries.

HITSEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria - Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for B.Tech programmes, candidates must have scored at least 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) at the Class XII or equivalent level. For B.Tech (Biotechnology), a minimum of 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology (PCM/PCB) is required.

For B.Arch, applicants must have passed Class XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, securing 50% aggregate marks, and must hold a valid score in NATA or JEE (Main) Paper 2 (Architecture). For B.Des, candidates should have obtained 60% aggregate marks in any stream - Science, Commerce, or Arts - in the qualifying examination.
