New Delhi: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced the CA intermediate and foundation examinations schedule for September 2024 exam. Candidates can check the CA Inter and Foundation September 2024 schedule at the official portal: icai.org.

The last date to submit the applications for CA Foundation 2024 was May 1, 2024. The exam dates are scheduled between September 12 and September 23, 2024. The official notification further stated that no exam dates will be affected even if the Central Government, State Government, or Local Authorities declare any exam dates as a public holiday.

The ICAI notification states that No examination is scheduled on 16th September 2024 (Monday) on account of Milad – un - Nabi, being a compulsory (gazetted) Central Government holiday as per F. No. 12/2/2023-JCA dated 3.7.2023 issued by Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievance and Pensions, Government of India.

There will be no advance reading time in Papers 3 and 4 of the Foundation Examination, whereas in all other papers, a 15-minute advance reading time will be given from 1.45 PM (IST) to 2 PM (IST).

Ans. The CA Intermediate 2024 examination will be conducted for 100 marks. Out of the total questions, 30% will be case study-based MCQs and 70% will be descriptive questions. There will be no negative marking and the exam will be conducted in English/Hindi language.
