Indian Institute of Management Amritsar has announced the admission for its 5 Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) for the 2026–31 batch. Candidates seeking admission to the IPM program at IIM Amritsar have the opportunity to apply by March 31, 2026, through the official website, iimamritsar.ac.in.

As per the official website, Interested candidates must complete the online application process on the official IIM Amritsar admission portal by March 31, 2026, and March 14, 2026 at IIM Indore. Candidates are required to apply for the IPMAT conducted by the Indian Institute of Management Indore, as the IPMAT score will be used by IIM Amritsar for shortlisting of candidates.

IIM Amritsar IPM Admission Dates 2026

The IPMAT examination is a national entrance test consisting of questions on logical reasoning, mathematics, and verbal ability, and it is an initial step towards the selection process. Candidates must register themselves for IPMAT 2026 by its deadline of March 31, 2026, and appear for the exam scheduled on May 4, 2026.

IIM Amritsar IPM Selection Criteria

After the completion of application submission and the IPMAT exam, IIM Amritsar will release a list of eligible candidates based on performance and eligibility criteria. Candidates are advised to prepare for communication skills, general awareness, and overall skills, as shortlisted applicants will be called for a Personal Interview conducted by the institute’s faculty members within the campus.

IIM Amritsar IPM Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for admission into the IPM program, candidates must have passed 10+2 with 60% marks or appeared in Class 10+2 HSC or equivalent in with Mathematics/Applied Mathematics as a compulsory subject. However, a relaxation of 55 % will be given to the candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PwD categories.

Documents Required

During application, candidates need to upload scanned copies of their IPMAT registration receipt, class X and XII mark sheets and certificates, category certificates (if applicable), and passport-size photographs. International candidates must also submit valid passport copies and additional supporting documentation.
