IIM Calcutta MBA achieved 100% placements for 59th batch of its flagship MBA program. Offers were made by recruiters from the Finance, Technology, Marketing, and General Management sectors. Check the placement report here!
New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta has achieved 100% placements for 59th batch of its flagship MBA program. For this session, 464 students from IIM Calcutta took part in the drive and secured 529 offers provided by 194 companies nationwide.
As per the IIM Calcutta Placement 2024 Report, the technological sector provided offers to 88 students with the participation of firms like Navi, Media.Net, Angle One, Zomato, Microsoft, HCL, Javis, and NPCI.
Students also received placement offers from first-time recruiters like Jio Financial Services, Yubi, Hero Fincorp, Sirius AI, Husk Power Systems, and DMI Finance. A new trend of roles in the ‘Founder’s Office’ was recorded from firms like OLA, Newme, PoshN, and IndusInd Bank offered these roles.
Sector Wise Top Recruiters in IIM Calcutta MBA Placement 2024
From General Management and Marketing sectors, top recruiters like Loreal, Dabur, Vedanta, Hinduja, ITC, Proctor & Gamble, Tata Administrative Services, and Reliance recruited 130 students during the IIM Calcutta MBA Placement 2024 session.
A total of 114 students were recruited by finance recruiters for profiles like Private Equity, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, Asset and Wealth management domains. Offers were made by JP Morgan, Bank of America, Kotak Mahindra Capital, Gaja Capital, Prime Ventures, and Innoven Capital.
In addition to this, Accenture Strategy was the top recruiter in the consulting sector which included firms like Monitor Deloitte, Vector Consulting, PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG, BCG, Kearney, and McKinsey, among others.
