IIM Sirmaur Empowers Students with Heartfulness Enabled Leadership Mastery Program; Check Details Here

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management, IIM Sirmaur, has organized a two-day Heartfulness Enabled Leadership Mastery (HELM) Program for the MBA 2023-24 batch, with the aim of nurturing leadership excellence and personal development.

During the IIM Sirmaur program, distinguished individuals, including Mr. Sanjay Upreti (IRAS & Joint Secretary), Mr. C S Patil (Senior Manager, NTPC), and Mr. Amarjeet Singh (Assistant Professor, HPU), served as sources of inspiration for the students. 

They encouraged the students to embark on a journey of leadership and entrepreneurship by cultivating the right values, strengths, and skills. This approach encompasses adopting a contemplative lifestyle, ultimately leading to holistic success and well-being in their lives

Dr. Atul Agrawal, the program convener and Administrative Officer at IIM Sirmaur, expressed that the program played a pivotal role in helping students recognize the significance of contemplative practices empowered by heartfulness in their overall life success.

Participants were not only motivated but also encouraged to incorporate heartfulness practices into their daily lives. They gained an understanding of the importance of establishing a connection with their hearts, seeking guidance through heart-centric living, adopting the right values, making informed choices in the context of the 21st century, and comprehending the intricacies of the world, community involvement, personal and broader life purpose, and the achievement of sustainable development goals. All of these are naturally attainable through a regular practice of heartfulness meditation.

The program also underscored the importance of embracing a growth-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset, in combination with the development of essential soft skills. In the 21st century, the focus is on nurturing the skills of the heart, which provide a distinct competitive advantage in a world characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA).
