New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) has initiated the admission process for the MTech program in Quantum Technology for the academic session 2024-25. Interested candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can submit their applications through the official website, admissions.iisc.ac.in, until April 12, 2024.
The IISc admission to M.Tech Program in Quantum Technology will be through GATE 2024 scores. The GATE 2024 results are scheduled to be announced on March 16, 2024. The GATE 2024 answer key objection facility will be available until February 25, 2024.
Administered by the Department of Instrumentation and Applied Physics at IISc Bangalore, the MTech course in Quantum Technology has 10 seats. The preferred GATE papers for this program include AE, BM, BT, CE, CH, CS, CY, EC, EE, GG, NM, IN, MA, ME, MN, MT, PH, PI, XE, ST, and GE. The GATE 2024 examination occurred on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024.

What is the Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech in Quantum Technology?
Eligible candidates for the MTech program must hold a BE or BTech or an equivalent degree in any discipline (with a valid GATE score), or an MSc or equivalent degree in any discipline (with a valid GATE), or a four-year Bachelor of Science or equivalent in any discipline of science or research (with a valid GATE). A mathematical background is also required.
What is the Application Fee for M.Tech in Quantum Technology?
For application, candidates falling under the general, Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories are required to pay an application fee of INR 800. Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates will need to submit Rs 400 as the application fee.
