Key Guidelines for OCI/PIO Candidates

OCI/PIO candidates who obtained their cards before March 4, 2021, must select their category carefully (OCI/PIO (I) or OCI/PIO (F)) during registration.

If an OCI/PIO candidate registers for JEE (Advanced) 2025 using both JEE (Main) credentials and as OCI/PIO (F) through direct registration, such applications will be treated as unfair means, leading to cancellation of candidature.

Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO (F)

Definition of Foreign Nationals:

Candidates meeting the following conditions will be considered as foreign nationals:

• Not citizens of India (by birth or naturalization).
• OCI/PIO (F) candidates as described in Clause 6.2 of the brochure.

Direct Registration for JEE (Advanced):

Foreign national candidates and OCI/PIO (F) candidates are not required to appear for JEE (Main) 2025. They may register directly for JEE (Advanced) 2025, subject to fulfilling other eligibility criteria.

Candidates previously allocated a seat through JoSAA but who fall under the following categories are eligible to reappear for JEE (Advanced) 2025:
