JEE Main 2024 from Jan 27, Admit Card Out for All Dates; Check Guidelines, Dress Code, Documents Required Here

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency will conduct the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 BTech and BE Exam tomorrow, January 27, 2024 for all registered candidates. The JEE Main 2024 exam will be held in two shifts, from 9 AM to 12 Noon in shift 1 and 3 PM to 6 PM in shift 2.

Candidates appearing for JEE Main BTech and BE Exam can download their JEE Main 2024 admit card from the official website using their login credentials such as application number and date of birth. NTA has released the JEE Main 2024 admit card for all exam dates.

The official notice reads, "In case any candidate faces difficulty in downloading the Admit Card for JEE (Main) – 2024 Session 1 (January 2024) along with the undertaking, he/she may contact 011-40759000 or e-mail at jeemain@nta.ac.in”.

Following the JEE Main 2024 Exam Dates, the entrance exam will be held from January 24 to February 1, 2024. The first exam was held on January 24 for B.Arch and B.Plan program and BE and BTech exams will be held in the remaining days from January 27 to February 1, 2024.

JEE Mains Exam Day Guidelines

To ensure the smooth commencement of the JEE Main 2024 Exam, students are advised to follow the exam day guidelines and important instructions mentioned in their JEE Main 2024 Admit Card. Check the exam day instructions and guidelines below:

• Reach the JEE Main 2024 Exam Center at least an hour before the exam timing.
• Make necessary travel arrangements to reach the exam center.
• Carry a printout of their JEE Main Admit Card 2024 and a valid photo ID proof and passport-size photographs.
• Check the dress code to appear for JEE Main 2024 exam and follow the same accordingly.
• Make sure to download your admit card at least a day before the exam day.
• Do not carry any items mentioned in the prohibited items list.
• Drop the Duly filled-in Admit Card in the designated DropBox while leaving the Examination Hall/Room.

JEE Mains Dress Code 2024

To appear for the JEE Main 2024 Exam, students have to follow the below-mentioned dress code:

• Avoid clothes with pockets or metal objects
• Jackets and Hoodies will not be permitted
• Wear loose-fitting clothes
• Shoes with heavy soles are not permitted
• Any kind of jewellery is not permitted in the exam center.

Items to Carry Inside JEE Main 2024 Exam Centre

Candidates need to carry the below-mentioned items and documents inside JEE Main 2024 exam centre:

• Additional Passport-sized photograph to be pasted on attendance sheet (same as the one used in the application form)
• Photo ID proof like Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, Driving License
• A copy of JEE Main 2024 undertaking/ self-declaration
• PwD certificate, if applicable
• Sanitizer and Face Mask
• Transparent water bottle
• For JEE Main Paper 2A (B.Arch), you need to bring your own pencil, eraser, geometry box set, clipboard, and color pencils/crayons for the drawing test.
