The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam scheduled for April 5 is expected to be rescheduled due to its clash with Easter Sunday. The development comes after representations from community leaders and officials highlighting concerns over the overlap with important religious observances during Holy Week.

Union Minister of State Suresh Gopi confirmed that the concern has been communicated to the authorities. Reports suggest that the Union Education Ministry has responded positively and is likely to allow affected candidates an option to change their exam date.

Option to Request Exam Rescheduling

As per the latest updates, candidates who are unable to appear for the April 5 exam will be allowed to request a new exam date. However, this facility will not be automatic, and students must submit their request within the given deadline.

Candidates are required to send their details via email to jeemain.query@nta.ac.in by March 28, 2026 (today). Only those who submit the request within the deadline will be considered for rescheduling. The National Testing Agency is expected to review all requests and allot alternative dates accordingly.

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Admit Card Expected Soon

The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 admit card is expected to be released anytime soon on the official website. Once available, candidates will be able to download it from jeemain.nta.nic.in using their application number and password. The admit card will contain key details such as the allotted exam date, shift timing, and the complete exam centre address.
