Collegedunia has updated its JEE Main 2026 Score Calculator based on the official answer key released by NTA, allowing candidates to check their expected score before the result announcement.
After the release of the JEE Main 2026 response sheet and provisional answer key, Collegedunia JEE Main 2026 Score Calculator has been updated to provide accurate and up-to-date score estimates for candidates.
According to the latest update, the calculator has been synced with the official data released by NTA and reflects the most recent answer key and evaluation rules. This ensures that the scores generated through the tool are reliable, verified, and consistent with NTA’s marking scheme.
The updated score calculator allows candidates to check their exact raw marks and also offers a subject-wise performance breakdown, helping students analyse their performance in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics individually. The calculator automatically considers all evaluation rules, including marks for correct answers and negative marking for incorrect MCQs, to present a clear and realistic score estimate.
| Method | What to Do | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Response Sheet URL | Paste the NTA response sheet link | Fast & accurate score |
| Manual Entry | Enter correct & wrong answers | Quick self-assessment |
JEE Main 2026 Dropped Questions
The NTA has excluded two questions from the JEE Main 2026 January session answer key. Both questions were from the Physics section and appeared in different exam shifts.
The removal of these questions after the release of the provisional answer key has raised concerns among students about how the evaluation will be carried out, particularly with respect to mark allocation and percentile calculation. At present, NTA has not issued a separate clarification explaining the exact scoring treatment for these dropped questions.
| Question ID | Exam Date | Shift | Subject |
|---|---|---|---|
| 444792191 | January 22, 2026 | Shift 1 | Physics |
| 8606541395 | January 23, 2026 | Shift 1 | Physics |
These questions were initially visible in the answer key with response options, but were later removed. Candidates from the affected shifts are advised to rely on the final answer key and result notification for clarity on score calculation and percentile impact.
For details on dropped questions, candidates can refer to the JEE Main 2026 Dropped Question List available on Collegedunia.

JEE Main 2026 Rank Predictor
Collegedunia has also introduced a dedicated JEE Main 2026 Rank Predictor to help students go a step further in their analysis. Using this tool, candidates can simply enter their calculated raw marks to get an estimated percentile and All India Rank (AIR).
The predictions are generated by analysing previous year JEE Main data, marks-to-percentile trends, and normalisation patterns, giving students a reliable early insight into their expected performance. This enables aspirants to make informed decisions regarding counselling and admissions even before the official results are announced.
