The National Testing Agency released the provisional answer key and response sheets for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 on April 11, 2026. Over 11.23 lakh candidates can now access their marked responses and calculate probable scores at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The National Testing Agency has released the provisional answer key and response sheets for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 on April 11, 2026. Candidates who appeared in the examination can now log into the official portal at jeemain.nta.nic.in using their application number and password or date of birth.

The response sheets display all answers marked during the Computer-Based Test conducted across multiple shifts. Question papers for all shifts are also being made available to ensure transparency in the evaluation process.

Over 11.23 lakh candidates appeared for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 across 566 centres in 304 Indian cities and 14 international locations. The examination was conducted on April 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, 2026, with Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) recording 93 percent attendance and Paper 2 (B.Arch./B.Planning) recording 73 percent attendance.

This release enables candidates to verify their responses and estimate their scores before the final result declaration expected by April 20, 2026.

Candidates can download the provisional answer key by visiting jeemain.nta.nic.in and logging in with their credentials. They must enter their application number and password or date of birth to access the portal.

The response sheet will display all answers marked during the examination. Candidates are advised to carefully review all documents before proceeding with any challenges to the answer key.

An online window will be provided for candidates to raise objections against the provisional answer key. Each challenge requires a non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 per question. Using the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 score calculator, candidates can also estimate their probable scores based on their responses and the answer key.

Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) saw approximately 11.06 lakh domestic registrations with 4,229 international candidates, achieving 93 percent attendance. Paper 2 (B.Arch./B.Planning) recorded around 54,953 domestic registrations and 270 international candidates with 73 percent attendance.

Aadhaar-based authentication reached nearly 97 percent for both papers. The examination was conducted smoothly across India and international centres with proper coordination between central and state authorities.

The National Testing Agency implemented several measures to ensure smooth examination conduct despite challenges. In Riyadh, a power disruption on April 5 led to rescheduling on April 6 and 8.

In Manipur, despite internet restrictions, the examination was completed with support from the state administration. Candidates affected in certain Middle Eastern regions were provided rescheduling and relocation support through Indian missions.

The final answer key will be prepared after reviewing all challenges submitted by candidates. Results for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Paper 1 are expected by April 20, with final scores calculated by considering the best performance across both sessions.
