The notice clearly states that no further extension will be provided. The correction facility is available for fresh applicants of Session 2 as well as those candidates who applied for Session 1 and also registered for Session 2.

This is a one-time opportunity, and once the corrected form is submitted, it will be frozen and no further changes will be allowed.

During the correction window, candidates can modify details such as candidate’s name, father’s or mother’s name, date of birth, gender, category, sub-category (PwD), Class 10 and Class 12 educational details, state code of eligibility, signature, examination city selection, medium of examination, paper, and identity details (only for candidates who did not register using Aadhaar).

If any modification impacts the application fee, candidates will have to pay the additional fee online.

However, some details cannot be changed under any circumstances. These include mobile number, email address, permanent and present address, emergency contact details, and uploaded photograph. Students must carefully review their form before final submission.

Candidates are advised to log in to the official portal and check all details properly. If any mistake is found, it must be corrected before February 28, 2026 (11:50 PM), as no further chance will be given after the window closes.

Once the correction period ends, NTA will move ahead with the next stages such as release of the exam city intimation slip, admit card download, conduct of Session 2 examination, result declaration, and the counselling process through JoSAA. Applicants should regularly check the official website for updates regarding admit card and examination schedules.
