The examination was conducted with robust planning and coordination with central and state authorities, ensuring smooth execution despite emerging challenges. NTA facilitated international candidates affected by disruptions in certain Middle Eastern regions through rescheduling and relocation of examination centres with support from Indian Missions abroad.

The Riyadh centre examination was rescheduled due to a power disruption on April 5, 2026, and successfully conducted on April 6 and 8, 2026. Additionally, NTA coordinated with CBSE to ensure no overlap between JEE Main and Class XII Board examinations.

The attendance rate for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) was 93%, while Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning) recorded about 73% attendance. Aadhaar authentication was successfully completed for around 97% of candidates across both papers, ensuring security and authenticity of the examination process. The overall paper difficulty was moderate, with Mathematics being the lengthiest section, Chemistry featuring tricky questions, and Physics maintaining a balance between conceptual and numerical problems.
