New Delhi: The Jawaharlal Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) is going to hold Round 1 Counselling till June 27, 2024. The JIPMER recently released an information brochure that contains the MD, MS, MDS and M.Ch admission process for round 1. The reporting for the admission process started on June 24, 2024 and will continue till June 27, 2024.

Candidates must complete the Health-Care Professional ID Registration (NDHM / ABDM) before the admission reporting. They must fill out the JIPMER e-form and bring a printout of the completed form. Then they need to submit an Agreement Document on a 10-rupee stamp paper or e-stamp paper with a Notary public signature and seal.
What Tasks Must be Completed Before Reaching the Admission Reporting Venue?
Candidates must perform the below-mentioned tasks before reaching the admission reporting venue:
- Completing the Health-Care Professional ID Registration (NDHM / ABDM).
- Filling out the JIPMER e-form and bring a printout of the completed form.
- Submitting an Agreement Document on a 10-rupee stamp paper or e-stamp paper with a Notary public signature and seal.
- Printing and filling out the required forms.

- CRRI / Internship Completion Certificate (Internship should be completed on or before 31.07.2024)

- Conduct / Character Certificate from the Institute last studied
- Transfer (or) Migration Certificate obtained from the Institute last studied
- Date of Birth / S.S.L.C. Certificate showing the date of birth

How to Register for the NDHM / ABDM Health-Care Professional ID?
Candidates must follow these steps to complete the NDHM / ABDM Healthcare Professional ID registration:
Step 1: Visit the official website @hprid.abdm.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on 'Create Your Healthcare Professional ID now'.
Step 3: Select 'I am Healthcare Professional'.
Step 4: Click on 'Generate via Aadhaar'.
Step 5: Enter your Aadhaar Number.
Step 6: Agree and submit.
Step 7: Enter the OTP received on your Aadhaar registered mobile number.
Step 8: Log in with the OTP.
Step 9: Enter your mobile number and submit.
Step 10. Enter the OTP received on your mobile number and log in.
Step 11: Create your 'User Name' & 'Password'.
Step 12: Select 'I am Healthcare Professional'.
Step 13: Select 'Modern Medicine'.
Step 14: Enter your email address and submit.
Step 15: Verify the OTP received in your email.
Step 16: Print the 14-digit Professional Healthcare ID number page and bring it for document verification.

Ques. How to pay the fee after a successful medical examination during JIPMER PG and M.Ch Admission 2024 counselling?
Ans. Candidates need to pay the admission fee through the SBI Collect payment portal for JIPMER. Choose “Academic Fee – MCh DM MD MS” PDF in the dropdown menu and provide the payment details. The total fee for the same is INR 20,960.
Ques. What is the penalty for candidates who decide to leave the JIPMER MD, MS, MDS and M.Ch seats after submitting certificates but before completing admission formalities?
Ans. Candidates will be liable to pay a penalty of INR 3 Lakhs to JIPMER, and the fee paid for admission will not be refunded.
