JKBOPEE 2nd Round Counselling for Admission to B.Pharmacy Course 2023 on Nov 2; Check Details Here

New Delhi: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) is all set to conduct the second round of counseling for admission to the B. Pharmacy course for the year 2023. The board has received the shortfall from various Colleges/Institutions against the provisional list notification. 

JKCET 2023 Exam has been cancelled. The admission to the Be/B. Tech courses has done on the basis of the merit secured by the applicants in the qualifying Examination i.e. 10+2 Examination.

“It is further notified that the Board has decided to reduce the benchmark from 20 to 10 marks for the 2nd upgrade/allotment round of counseling. Therefore, all the eligible candidates who have secured up to 10 marks in the Common Entrance Test conducted by the Board on 23.07.2023 are advised to attend the counseling at BOPEE office in Jammu/Srinagar,” reads the official notification.

Candidates who are eligible and willing to participate in the counseling process should report to the BOPEE offices in Jammu or Srinagar between 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on the scheduled day for registration, attendance, and completion of other necessary formalities.

Candidates are advised to present the following original documents during the counseling session: Domicile Certificate, Class 12 mark sheet, Date of Birth Certificate issued by the Board, category certificate if applicable, and D. Pharma certificate (for lateral entry candidates exclusively).

First-time applicants are required to make a payment of INR 1000 as a counseling fee on the counseling day through POS machines accessible at the BOPEE offices in Jammu or Srinagar using a Debit/Credit card.

JKBOPEE 2023: Procedure for 2nd Round Counselling for Admission in B Pharmacy Course

Below are the procedures to be followed during the conduct of the 2nd Upgradation/Allotment round of counseling (physical).

• Eligible and willing candidates must visit the BOPEE offices in Jammu or Srinagar between 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on the designated counseling day for registration, attendance, and fulfillment of other formalities.
• All participating candidates are required to bring the following original documents for submission during the counseling:

1. Domicile Certificate
2. 12th-grade marks card
3. Date of Birth Certificate issued by the Board
4. Category certificate, if applicable
5. D. Pharma certificate (for Lateral Entry Candidates only)

• Before attending counseling, all eligible candidates are strongly advised to check the Seat Matrix, which will be available on the official website of the Board one day before the counseling date.
• Candidates who were absent or received CAN/SNA during the first round of counseling are eligible to participate in this round of counseling.
• First-time counseling participants are required to pay a counseling fee of Rs. 1000 on the counseling day using POS machines available at the BOPEE office in Jammu or Srinagar via Debit/Credit card.
• Candidates who were allocated seats in the first round of counseling and have chosen to join the respective college/institution but wish to upgrade can participate in the 2nd Round of Physical Counseling. They must present the fee deposition receipt from the allocated College/University during admission.
• Candidates who were allocated seats in the first round of counseling but failed to join the allotted college/institution are not eligible for this round of counseling.
• Candidates belonging to the CDP category must bring a valid priority certificate issued by the competent authority on the day of counseling.
• The Board reserves the right to announce any necessary changes in response to technical difficulties or reasons beyond its control.
