JK NEET PG Counselling: JKBOPEE Announces Second/Mop-Up Round of Counselling for Post MBBS/DNB Courses

The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (J&K BOPEE) has announced the Second/Mop-Up Round of Physical Counselling for admission to Post MBBS, Post MBBS Diploma, and Post Diploma DNB courses for 2024. This round aims to fill the remaining unfilled seats in various government medical colleges across the Union Territory of J&K.

The counselling is scheduled for December 30, 2024 (Monday), and will be conducted for eligible candidates ranked 01-21 for Post MBBS DNB/Diploma and 01 for Post Diploma DNB. Candidates, including those from reserved categories, are encouraged to participate. The process will begin with reserved category candidates, and unfilled reserved category seats will be converted into Open Merit (OM) seats, as per Section 09(2) of the J&K Reservation Act, 2004.

Key Details for Participants

• Registration Timing: Candidates must report to BOPEE offices in Jammu/Srinagar between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM for registration and attendance.

• Required Documents: Participants should bring original copies of:

  • Domicile Certificate

  • NOC from Health and Medical Education Department

  • NEET-PG/PDCET Score Card 2024

  • MBBS degree/Diploma (as applicable)

  • Fee deposition receipt for upgradation cases

  • Other relevant documents as required by college authorities.

• Eligibility:

  • Candidates who missed the first round can participate after paying a counselling fee of ₹2000 through POS machines at BOPEE offices.

  • Candidates allotted seats in the first round but seeking upgradation can also participate, provided they present their fee receipt.

  • Candidates who failed to join seats allotted in the first round are permitted to participate in this round.

• Seat Matrix: A tentative seat matrix will be uploaded on the official BOPEE website to help candidates decide on their participation.
