JKBOSE 10th Board Exams 2020 Commence in Kashmir; Read Details Here

Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has started the annual board exams for Class 10 from November 11, 2020. 

JKBOSE 10th board exams 2020 are conducted following all the precautionary measures. The board is vigilant enough and is taking all the safety measures to ensure that the students are safe and there is no risk of COVID transfer.

After the pandemic, JKBOSE 10th board exams 2020 are the first major school-related activity performed in the valley. 

As per the reports, a total of 1,06,465 students are expected to appear in JKBOSE 10th exams 2020, out of which 74,465 are from the valley and remaining 32,000 are from Jammu winter zones.

JKBOSE 10th exams 2020 will be conducted at 1,145 centres. Out of these, 814 exam centres are in the valley and 331 are in the Jammu winter zones. 

JKBOSE 10th Exams 2020: Safety Measures Followed

The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is following all the safety guidelines to ensure safe conduct of JKBOSE 10th exams. Some of the safety measure followed are:

• JKBOSE exam centres are doubled from previous year to ensure strict social distancing abided
• Preventive measures have been put in place
• Wearing face mask compulsory for both students and staff members
• Examination centres have been fumigated to minimize the risk of COVID infection
• Hand sanitization facility available

Earlier, the state government announced 40% reduction in JKBOSE 10th and JKBOSE 12th syllabus for the annual examinations, keeping in mind the academic loss caused amid pandemic situation.
