JKBOSE to Conduct Annual Exams for Class 11; Rules Out Mass Promotion

Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) held a meeting recently, during which it ruled out all possibilities to provide a mass promotion to students and will not be granted to any class. 

In the meeting, JKBOSE officials and committee mutually decided to conduct an annual year examination for students of Class 8,9 and 11.

Officials from the education board confirmed that the academic committee held a meeting to decide about the mode of holding exams of Class 11 students. Earlier, a 30% syllabus was already scrapped for the current academic session 2020-21 by JKBOSE.

An official said “There is no chance of giving mass promotion to students of any class. The government has already announced 30 per cent relaxation in syllabus in exams for students of class 10th to 12th.”

Decisions taken by the academic committee need government approval to become effective in all over union territory as stated by the official. However, Veena Pandita, Chairperson JKBOSE refused to give any details about the meeting.

JKBOSE Released Class 12 results

On October 9, 2020, Jammu and Kashmir Board has officially released the JKBOSE 12th Bi-Annual Result 2020. The result was announced for HSE-II of the Bi-Annual 2020 Summer Zone of Jammu Division.

The result is declared online. Students can visit jkbose.ac.in to check their class 12th result.
