JKCET 2026 Registration Begins @jkbopee.gov.in; Apply by April 1

JKCET 2026 registration has begun for B.E/B.Tech admissions at jkbopee.gov.in. Candidates can apply online till April 1, 2026, by paying a ₹1000 application fee.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (J&K BOPEE) has commenced the registration process for the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) 2026. As per the notification, candidates seeking admission to B.E./BTech programmes in government and private engineering colleges across the Union Territory can now apply online.

The online application process began on March 19, 2026, and will remain open till April 1, 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application forms through the official website, jkbopee.gov.in.

Candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹1000 through online modes such as Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking. The entrance examination date will be announced separately by the board.

JKCET 2026 – Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. General category candidates, including EWS, must secure at least 45% marks, while reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC and others) require a minimum of 40% marks. Additionally, applicants must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir or Ladakh.

The entrance examination will be conducted in offline mode at multiple centres, including Jammu, Srinagar, Doda, Rajouri, Anantnag, Baramulla, and Leh. Candidates appearing in or awaiting their qualifying exam
