The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued an important alert regarding the revised schedule for the Karnataka NEET PG 2025 Second Round seat allotment for Non-Inservice candidates, as notified on December 17, 2025.

According to KEA, the revision has been made in view of changes approved after the National Medical Commission revised the All India Quota Second Round counselling timeline, and all eligible Non-Inservice candidates must strictly follow the updated dates to avoid loss of seat opportunity. As per the revised schedule, the option entry process, including rearrangement, modification, alteration or deletion of choices, has been extended and will remain open until December 22, 2025, up to 5.00 pm, giving candidates additional time to carefully review and finalise their preferences.

KEA has further announced that the Second Round Provisional Allotment Result will be published on December 23, 2025, after 2.00 pm, and only those candidates who have submitted their original documents will be considered eligible for provisional allotment. Following this, the Second Round Final Allotment Result is scheduled to be released on December 24, 2025, after 2.00 pm, confirming seat allocation for qualified candidates. Candidates allotted seats in the final round must complete the admission formalities, including payment of fees and downloading of the admission order (candidate copy), which will be enabled from December 25, 2025, to December 30, 2025, and KEA has advised candidates to consider bank working days while making payments during this period. The authority has clearly stated that candidates must report to their allotted colleges for admission along with the admission order and required documents, and biometric or OTP-based authentication may be conducted at the institution level.

The last date for reporting to the allotted college is December 30, 2025, before 5.00 pm, and failure to report within the stipulated time will result in cancellation of the allotted seat without further notice. KEA has also directed all participating colleges and candidates to treat counselling days, including Saturdays and declared holidays, as working days to ensure the timely completion of the admission process.
